Advantage of Shingled Technology

Topsunlight adopted high-efficiency shingled monocrystalline cell which creating a high-quality, high-performance outdoor solar charging solution for the portable energy storage market. Shingled method is kind of way for the encapsulation technology which cuts solar cell into several wafers which are then overlayed as tiles. Using a flexible conductive adhesive for the interconnects between cells to cover the entire module and improve efficiencies.

1/6 battery cells connected by ECA, conductive adhesive used on shingled cells which helps to minimize internal stresses due to thermal expansion to lower the risk of microcracks.

Low Hot-Spot Effect

Shingled technology, its unique arrangement reduced the influence of solder-strip resistance on product power greatly, which minimized the power loss in PV packaging process and reduced the impact of reverse current on PV modules of the hot-spot effect.
